@chillzozen Oh, sorry, I forgot about that. Also, I've been burned earlier in the year by working on someone stranger's project for free only for them to cancel it and take the models I worked so hard for them with them, so I do want to be more careful and wait until you have a sort of prototype of the game working to prove you're serious and my time working on the project will be well-spent. If I'm being brutally honest...
Besides, I think the general rule of thumb is that a game developer should just work with generic placeholder assets during the prototype phase, to make sure the actual gameplay is fun before making the graphics "pretty" later. Maybe in that case, learn programming in Ren'Py first, show me a demo of the game with placeholder graphics, and then I'll decide you're serious enough about seeing the game to completion and make the background graphics.
I know this sounds harsh, but I'm also working on a big project of my own and will have to put that on hold or even cancel my personal project to make time for working on other people's projects, since I also have a full-time job. My extremely-limited free time is valuable and I want to make sure you're committed to your project before I can commit as well, so that all my hard work and long hours waiting for the 3D backgrounds to render don't go to waste.

Uhh, don't burn yourself out with too many ambitious ideas. Maybe you should do the 101 traditional art challenge. THEN learn to code in Ren'Py when you're done?
